I'm finding the pace of life in London so fast that it's great to know of any quiet spots in the city, especially one that sounds as interesting and piognant as this. The memorial sounds like a wonderful idea though because as you say, all too often these deeds are soon forgotten. The plaques look beautiful in their vintage tile but must make for sombre reading after a while.
